Corrosion Inhibitors

Corrosion Inhibitors are generally amine-type film forming compounds that provide protection in sweet(CO2) and sour (H2S) acid gas environments. They also are formulated to control electrolytic and galvanic corrosion caused by oxygen or bacteria in fresh water or brines. Products include:

WT-922

Imidazoline/Phosphate Ester Based Combination Scale/Corr. Inhibitor

WT-930

Quaternary/Amine/Phosphate Ester Based Combination Scale/Corr Inhibitor

WT-931

Imidazoline Based Oil Soluble Inhibitor

WT-933

Quaternary Based Pipeline Inhibitor

WT-939

High Temp HCL Corrosion Inhibitor

WT-990

Quaternary Amine Based Corrosion Inhibitor

Scale Inhibitors

Scale inhibitors prevent the precipitation of inorganic solids from supersaturated water which is coproduced with hydrocarbons during production operations. They work by the "threshold effect" to inhibit the formation of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and other scales. Scale inhibitors can be applied by continuous injection, batch treatment, or squeeze treatment. Products include:

WT-953

Acrylate Based Inhibitor

WT-955S

Acrylate Based Squeeze Inhibitor

WT-922

Combination Scale/Corrosion Inhibitor (phosphate/imidazoline type)

WT-942

Combination Scale/Corrosion Inhibitor (phosphonate/quaternary amine type)

WT-961

Combination Scale/Corrosion Inhibitor (phosphonate/quaternary amine/ADBAC type)

Emulsion Breakers

Demulsifiers are utilized to reduce surface and interfacial tension between oil and water droplets, allowing the water component to coalesce into larger drops, and ultimately separate form the oil. Effective breaker chemistry produces a fast drop at the lowest temperature and treating rate, a sharp interface between the oil and water, clean water with little or no oil carryover, and water wet solids that drop into the water phase. Products include:

EB-504

Oil Based Breaker

EB-506

Oil Based Breaker

EB-507

Oil Based Breaker

EB-509

Oil Based Breaker

EB-525

Water Based Non-Emulsifier

Paraffin Inhibitors

Paraffins are naturally occuring components of many crude oils. They generally are > C-18 linear and/or branched hydrocarbons that once precipitated in the wellbore, and can have melting points varying from 82F to over 200F. Paraffin deposition can be controlled by using either polymeric crystal modifiers or dispersants.

PT-330

Oil Based Dispersant

PT-335

Oil Based Pour Point Depressant

Foamers

Foamers are surfactants utilized to unload water from low pressure gas wells. They are generally injected down the backside where they reduce the density of the water content so that it can be lifted out of the well.
